Hey hi hello, I’m Sara!
I’m a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and soon-to-be Accredited Practising Dietitian. I’m passionate about empowering individuals to feel strong, confident, and capable through personalised fitness and nutrition support.
With over five years of experience as a personal trainer and a Degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science, I bring an evidence-based approach to health and fitness . I’m currently completing my Master of Dietetics at the University of Queensland, and I love blending movement and nutrition to help my clients thrive.
My Why
I’ve always been active, participating in hockey and gymnastics as a kid, but my real passion for health and fitness began in my teenage years.
Like many, I chased the idea of a “toned” physique, trying countless programs and believing that hours of cardio and restrictive eating were the only ways to achieve my "dream body."
Hint: they weren’t and what even is a “dream body” - is it actually attainable? In my case, it wasn’t.
This journey taught me valuable lessons about balance, sustainability, and the importance of evidence-based approaches—principles that now shape my philosophy in helping others find their healthiest, most confident selves. I now enjoy a range of activity from pilates and strength training to running, appreciating each of them for their differences and various health benefits.
How I like to train
Fitness is a big part of my life, but honestly, other things matter more to me. Let me explain.
I’m super passionate about health and fitness, but I’ve learned to structure it in a way that works around the other important parts of my life—like spending time with family and friends or traveling. By keeping my training sessions effective and efficient, I can still get all the mental and physical benefits of exercise without missing out on what really matters to me. Plus, staying active means I have more energy, mental clarity and better health, which means I can enjoy the things that matter to me even more.
My ultimate combo is strength training, pilates and running/hiking!
My Approach
My philosophy and approach to fitness is focused on sustainable, long-term outcomes.
I focus on creating fitness and nutrition strategies that fit seamlessly into your lifestyle, ensuring they are realistic and maintainable for the long term. Rather than relying on quick fixes or trends, I prioritise evidence-based methods that promote gradual, lasting change and still allow you to live your life outside of the gym!
Did I mention travel?
Yep, I caught the travel bug and it stuck around. Here’s a few of my favourite places from the past few years.
Outside the Studio
Needless to say, I’m also a huge foodie and love finding new restaurants to visit in Brisbane!
